Welcome

Dear friends and family,

First off, we are so excited to be able to celebrate our wedding with you all.

One of the first things we noticed on each other's match.com profile (other than my apparent love of Urdu-speakers and Laura's good grammar and spelling) is a mutual love for traveling - between us, we have visited more then twenty countries! Oddly though, we have never traveled abroad together. So instead of a traditional registry, we have decided to go the route of the honeymoon registry. Not only will we be able to indulge the travel-bug in each of us, but this way, we don't have to worry about moving and storing things in our likely miniscule New York apartment next year.

Rather than using a commercial honeymoon registry, we have designed this blog to detail our trip as we plan it (we are aiming for fall of 2010) and how you can help contribute.

New Zealand

Our goal is to visit New Zealand for approximately 2 weeks. We encourage you to specify a particular activity or destination that you would like to help us with.
This can include any type of contribution to any of the following.
Airfare from New York, NY to Auckland, NZ.

Two night stay at Tongariro National Park to complete 'Alpine Crossing', a day trek that traverses the otherworldly landscape full of steaming craters, old lava flows and thermal lakes.

Two night stay in Fiordland National Park Lodge.
Sea kayaking day trip in the Milford Sound of Fiordland National Park.
